If you follow me on Instagram, you will notice my addiction to whizzing fruits and veggies to make green juices and smoothies.
Smoothies are meant to be made with ice but I personally don’t, because I find that it dilutes too much the taste of my greens. Also, I don’t like to challenge my poor sensitive teeth.
I try to always have fresh fruits in my fridge but I’m absolutely fine with frozen fruits, they’re a great option if your fresh fruits are about to turn too ripe or when some of your favorites are no longer in season. Frozen fruits from the supermarket are good too. You can even pre-pack your own combos in zip bags so making your smoothies becomes a no-brainer in the morning – take the baggy out of the freezer, liquidize with a bit of yogurt or milk and your favorite seeds and nuts and you have your delicious breakfast on-the-go.
